What Are Irrational Numbers?
In math, Irrational Numbers are any real numbers that cannot be
expressed as a simple Fraction.
Irrational numbers are the opposite of Rational Numbers.
- For example the fraction ½ equals decimal 0.5. The decimal
number ends making it a rational number.
- Irrational numbers that numbers
that cannot be represented as terminating or repeating decimals.
- Irrational number example: Pi is a well known irrational number because it
never ends: 3.141592653589793...
