The Decimal Number System has the following ten numerical symbols:
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
When we subtract the number 1 from the current number, we get the next smaller number.
Example: 1 - 1 = 0, 2 - 1 = 1, 3 - 1 = 2, ... 8 - 1 = 7, 9 - 1 = 8, 10 - 1 = 9.
