What Is Associative Property Of Multiplication?
This property is a subset
of Properties Of Multiplication.
To learn about other properties of multiplication see Properties Of Multiplication.
- Associatively means that changing the order of number groups does not change the
answer. That is, changing the parentheses in a math problem will not change the
answer. Example:
(3 x 2) x 1 = 2 x (1 x 3)
6 x 1 = 2 x 3
6 = 6
