What Are Perpendicular Lines?

Perpendicular Lines in geometry have the following characteristics.
  • Perpendicular lines are comprised of two lines that are at Right Angles one another. Therefore if one angle is a right angle or 90°, then all angles of the intersecting lines are 90°.
  • Perpendicular lines have length but no width or height.
