What Are Squared And Perfect Squares Numbers?
A Squared number
"n" is written n^{2}. This notation, n^{2}, is pronounced "n squared".
So what does n^{2} mean? Simple, it is a shortcut exponent notation using multiplication.
If "n" is a number than "n" times "n" = n × n = n^{2}. Example: 3^{2}
= 3 x 3 = 9.
 Any number can be squared; for example (1.5)^{2}
= 1.5 × 1.5 = 2.25. But squares of Integers are called Perfect Squares.
 Here is a list of the first ten perfect squares:
0^{2} = 0, 1^{2} = 1, 2^{2} = 4, 5^{2} = 25, 6^{2}
= 36, 7^{2} = 49, 8^{2} = 64, 9^{2} = 81, and 10^{2}
= 100.
 The square of any nonzero number is positive; if you have

The Product of two numbers
with the same sign is positive.
 Taking the square of a negative number can be a little tricky. For
example 4^{2} = 16 but (4)^{2} = +16. You must always be aware
of the order of operation.
